St.NAUM OHRIDSKI HIGH SCHOOL

*The High school St.Naum Ohridski in M.Brod started working in 1973/74 as a part of Mirko Mileski High School in Kicevo. It was situated in the buildings of St.Kliment Ohridski elementary School. The next year it was removed in the in the old elementary school in M.Brod.
It consisted of 3 classes of high school students and 3 employees the other teachers were from the Mirko Mileski high school in Kicevo.

The school life

The school life in St.Naum Ohridski is very interesting for the pupils as a result of the fact that they are always satisfied with it. Today there are about 300 students who attend this school. Students don't have much free time because they are participating in different projects and they also have some after school activities. In that way they are expanding their horizons and they have lots of achievements too. The last thing that they won was a second prize in competition in History, the second prize in competition for Geography too; the fist, the second and the fourth prize in the competition of Latin language etc. Our school is very proud of the students’ success. We have to admit that we are all happy because our comprehensive school is one of the best schools in our country, the lovely Macedonia. The professors are also pleased and they are really trying to give the best for their dear students. This school year is special because we've got a chance to participate in the School connectivity project .We were waiting for so long to get this amazing chance, to show more to everyone in the world about our abilities. Now when we are all in the right place and at the right time let's just make a list of the things that are usual for one school day:

The first lesson begins at 07:30 and it finishes at 08:15
-so it means that 45 minutes are enough to get used to school atmosphere or to get involved in the education process .The first lesson is usually quite tiring and interesting at the same time. After 08:15 we have only five minutes to remove to another classroom and to prepare ourselves to acquire some new useful information. The second lesson finishes at 09:05. Then we have a big break till 09:40. In the meanwhile we eat in the school cafe and we are talking about the newest things that have happened in the school (of course). In our cafe club we can also sit together with our professors and talk with them about different issues like: school ones, music, films, sport etc. Usually we have six or seven lessons a day. At 13:00 or 14:00 o'clock we are at home. Maybe this will sound a little bit weird to you but if you are in a good mood you can easily enjoy eight lessons-We don't recommend this proposal at all. Once a week we have after school activities like painting, ballet, choir, sports, town-planning, health education and civic culture. These lessons are relaxing and interesting at the same time because we learn about many simple things in life but very important. When our paintings are done we expose them in the school hall. Then we accept lots of comments which make us think more about our work and the efforts we make.
About other school activities:
-Two months ago there was a campaign called Democracy-no way without me or simply School for democracy. A few students from our school Sv.Naum Ohridski took part in this campaign.
-There is also a debating club in our school organized by The Youth Educational Forum.
